It was fairly clean, I would love to come back. As for me, the location was excellent, so close to a picturesque coastline, the sea and the views where gorgeous and the beach. Besides, it was 2 km away from Edinburgh Castle. The staff were fantastic friendly and very well mannered and provided good service.

The hotel was clean and quirky, had breathtaking views of sea and Marsden rock. It was a beautiful and lovely location really close to the seafood restaurant, North Shields and Newcastle and a cave on the beach. Besides, this venue was located 2 km away from Souter Lighthouse. The bed was comfy, and the room itself was fabulous. The staff were fantastic friendly and affable, everything was very good.

Many things to mention - everything was fairly clean, outstanding food, breathtaking views. Have spent here 1 night and our queen room was brand-new. The location for South Shields was stunning and excellent, next to North Shields, shop, and a private beach with beach bar/restaraunt. Also, getting to Lime Kiln was easy and took only 10 minutes on foot.

We appreciated this place, as it was the best hotel. We spend 2 nights in South Shields lovely. The food was reasonably priced and incredible. The staff was polite and pleasant, the room was new-fashioned. The sea view was exceptional and the location was beautiful and particularly good, close enough to the Cave that houses the Restaurant, the restaurant on the evening, and the views where gorgeous. Besides, the property was 3 km away from Cleadon Hills.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and themed and the staff is amazing friendly. The location is beautiful and magnificent for exploring South Shields. Also, to get to Souter Lighthouse you’ll need to walk 10 minutes. The rustic restaurant is clean, serves amazing dishes.
